Guess what? I've done it again.
My dear friend, the lovely Karen White, just released her latest book Sea Change, and in my eagerness to get my desperate paws on the pages, I somehow managed to pre-order TWO copies. And as much as I adore Karen's writing, I really only need one.
But my loss is your gain, my friends! Comment below, and I'll have my youngest daughter pick one of your names from her favorite Hello Kitty bowl on Sunday morning, June 10th. Good luck and happy reading! (And in the meantime, here's a video trailer of Sea Change to whet your appetite.)
Oooooh, that's so generous of you! I'd love to read the book! Thank you very much!!!
ReplyDeleteI want to ride a horse down those alleys of canopied oaks....how beautiful!!! I hope to win the book but if I don't, I'll add the book to my Pinterest list and buy it at The Toadstool in Peterborough, NH :)
ReplyDeleteI've done the same thing too many times to count! I feel for you. And, please throw my name in the hat. I'd love to read Sea Change!
ReplyDeleteKaren White is one of my favorite authors. Can't wait for her tour to reach Joseph-Beth Booksellers in Lexington, KY. I would love to have Overseas signed, too, should Lexington be added to your next tour.
ReplyDeleteI would love to stop by Lexington some day! (Little known fact: I was a total horse racing geek as a tween, and would have died to visit the famous farms in the area. :))
DeleteWould love to read the book! Loved Overseas and even bought the audiobook to listen back and forth to work. P.S. My youngest daughter loves Hello Kitty too!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much - let me know how you like the audio! I haven't listened yet!
DeleteHave done the samething so many times!!would lifetime read the book.
ReplyDeleteSea Change sounds beautiful - would love to add this to my summer reading list.
ReplyDeleteWhat's better than a book? A free book! Yes, please do throw my name into the hat :), and thank you for thinking of us!
ReplyDeleteWould absolutely love to read this book! Thanks Beatriz!
ReplyDeleteMe too!!
ReplyDeleteI just started your book today and I'm already on page 214. Im sure I'd like this book too.
ReplyDeleteAw, thank you! Hope you're enjoying!
DeleteThanks so much for all the lovely comments, everyone! Sorry I didn't announce a winner sooner - Sunday exploded into a fireworks show of ballet recitals, soccer finals, and in-law visits! (In other words, an ordinary weekend at my house...)
ReplyDeleteAnyway, my daughter drew the winning number, and congratulations to Martine! You've won a copy of SEA CHANGE! You can email me your address at authorbeatrizwilliams@gmail.com, or else message me on my Facebook page at www.facebook.com/BeatrizWilliamsAuthor. Enjoy!
This book was party mystery, part intrigue, and part romance. I was more intrigued by the mystery part of the story then the present. It was not until about the second time that Ava had a flash back to the past that I figured out the mystery. Then I really got into this story even more. I like the concept of the mystery surrounding Ava and the past. If it was not for the mystery then Ava would be boring. Ava is the type of person that is more suited for being a wallflower then a leader. Although, she did blossom as the story progressed. The rest of the characters were kind of secondary. They did not add too much to the story. Again, the mystery was the best part of this book.
