The first cover is a combination of a romantic appeal but I've seen too many books with similar covers and, in the long, run paler colors don't really grab the attention on bookstands as much as bold, deeper colors do. The second cover definately did well for the play on words "Over time, over distance..." and I'm glad they kept it in the third cover, but the second title is sort of muted by all the blank, empty space around it and the piano. It feels like the piano and words are being swallowed up by the blue outside it. The third cover is my absolute favorite. As a matter of mood, color, art, and text it's in perfect balance. It's romantic enough without the flowery feeling the first cover had, more open than the second, and has a general feeling of mystery and romance to it. If the three books were on a stand next to each other I would easily go for the third cover first. :)Leah Kulikowskihttp://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=741065386&success=1noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-220037655862429216.post-55597900589561023802012-03-14T22:50:21.140-07:002012-03-14T22:50:21.140-07:00I love 1 and 3, 2 looks like many other book cover...I love 1 and 3, 2 looks like many other book covers, 3 especially looks unique. I'm more drawn to titles and captions on the cover rather than the picture, and based on that, I prefer the "over time, over distance" to the original "love knows no distance." The original would've made me think it was just about long distance relationships. The newer one would've made me think "long distance, time travel? What is this about? I must read the book jacket!" Congrats and I'm really looking forward to this release.Christinenoreply@blogger.com
